Rachel has been a steadfast supporter of Badger Trust for several years, actively participating in various initiatives including Q&A series, contributing imagery for fundraising campaigns, and producing films such as "Our Time With Badgers." Her dedication to the cause has been instrumental in raising awareness about the welfare and conservation of these iconic creatures.

In her new role as a youth advocate, Rachel will champion the mission of Badger Trust, who are dedicated to promoting and enhancing the welfare, conservation, and protection of badgers, their setts, and their habitats.

During an interview with the organisation, Rachel expressed her enthusiasm:

"I feel immensely honored to become a Badger Trust Youth Ambassador and to serve as a voice for badgers, a species I have cherished and worked closely with for several years. Their mysterious lives, family loyalties, and ecological importance are often overlooked and misunderstood. I am committed to changing current misconceptions, educating the public on responsible photography practices, and inspiring a new generation of badger champions to appreciate this remarkable species."

Peter Hambly, Executive Director of the Badger Trust, commented on Rachel's appointment:

Rachel shares our deep passion for badgers and has collaborated with us for some time to make our message more accessible to young people. The involvement of youth in conservation efforts has never been more crucial.
With Rachel’s exceptional storytelling abilities on both sides of the camera, we believe it is time to officially recognise her as our Youth Ambassador.

This announcement highlights the Badger Trust's ongoing efforts to engage young people in wildlife conservation, fostering a future generation of advocates dedicated to the protection of badgers and their habitats.
